Summary
The Guiding Committee (GC) of the Health Care Payment Learning & Action Network (LAN) held its monthly teleconference on Thursday, May 12, to capture takeaways from those who attended the LAN Summit and provide an update on the approach and health plan recruitment progress for the LAN’s nationwide APM progress measurement. The GC also provided the Clinical Episodes Payment (CEP) Work Group with feedback and guidance on its draft cardiac episode payment model White Paper and the Population-Based Payment (PBP) Work Group with suggestions on specific action steps to advance data sharing for effective PBP models. During the teleconference, the GC co-chairs provided members with brief updates on the LAN’s new Primary Care Payment Model (PCPM) Work Group, the Payment Reform Evaluation (PRE) Hub, and the Committed Partner Campaign.
